Type and Class of Polymer Usage

This table is intended to assist the users of Classification System D 2000-SAE J200 and is not to be  considered as part of the system. The table lists the Classification System D 2000-SAE J200 material  designations (type and class) and the type of polymer most often used in meeting the material requirements (type and class). This table is not intended to be limiting; other polymers may be used to  meet the same specification.
