Commercial Grade Nitrile Rubber

BRP manufactures commercial grade nitrile rubber, also known as nitrile butadiene rubber products. High-quality rubber is at the core of all products produced at BRP Manufacturing.

Our commercial grade nitrile rubber has a minimum tensile of 1,000 PSI and provide superior fuel and oil resistance. Typical uses for commercial grade nitrile rubber include pads, seals, and general gasket applications. Not only does Nitrile offer protection against oil, it is also resistant to other select chemicals.

Commercial grade nitrile rubber is highly recommended for use in areas where oil/petroleum products are present, but it is not designed to work properly in applications requiring weathering and UV resistance. Commercial grade nitrile rubber possesses unique physical and chemical properties that contribute to its popularity.

Compared to other rubber polymers, nitrile exhibits excellent compatibility with ammonia, methyl alcohol, copper salts, detergents, mercury, potassium salts, and zinc sulfate. Commercial grade nitrile rubber has a temperature range of -30º – 220ºF. All BRP products are American-made in their Lima, Ohio facility.
