BRP manufactures cloth inserted neoprene rubber products with excellent strength, dimensional stability and resistant properties. Unlike its non-cloth inserted counterparts, cloth inserted stays intact when bolt or compression loads are so high. Inserted fabrics include cotton, nylon and fiberglass in various weights based on application.
Cloth-inserted rubber adds enhanced stability and reduces gasket creep. It is perfect for low line pressure applications such as air, hot/cold water, saturated steam and low pressure steam. One ply of high-quality fabric is inserted between every 1/16” of rubber to create a pliable and durable product.
Cloth inserted neoprene is available in thicknesses ranging from .050 to .25” and temperature ranges from –40 to 220 F. This material provides moderate oil resistance ozone resistance and a good all-purpose polymer with a wide range of resistance.
