Military Grade EPDM Rubber

BRP manufactures military grade EPDM rubber that conforms to Mil-R-14328B specifications. It’s commonly used as a rubber gasket material. This general purpose gasket material is perfect for extreme climatic conditions and comes in a range of durometers.

Common applications for military grade EPDM rubber include shipboard water evaporators. It’s well known for its excellent resistance to ozone and hot water. Military grade EPDM rubber is not recommended for applications that include contact with hydrocarbon based fuels, synthetic lubricants or mineral oils and should not be used with ester based lubricants and fluids.

EPDM is derived from ethylene propylene diene monomer, it is the premier weather resistant synthetic elastomer. BRP manufactures military grade EPDM rubber with a unique high-quality finish that provides a flat, non-reflective finish for gap hiders and similar applications.
