Our military grade Neoprene rubber conforms to Mil-R-3065, Mil-R-15624 (PRF), Mil-G-1149 (PRF) and Mil-R-83248C (Type 2, Class 1).
Military grade Neoprene rubber is available in 50 durometer maximum and tensile ranges of 1,200 – 1,600. Military grade Neoprene rubber is commonly known for its resistance to oil. It is very versatile, providing a suitable balance of oil resistance, stability, strength and flame resistance
Common applications of military grade Neoprene rubber include tanks, vessels, fueling stations, truck beds, under tanks for transport and shock absorption, between petroleum carrying units as a buffer, helicopter maintenance, engine cowls, machine shops, weapons repair table and workstations. It’s also used in application where exposure to oil is likely, such as garages and floors exposed to dripping oils and gas.
